A New Generation of Mark One
Mark One was founded in 1974 by Carl and Josephine Privitera as a small electrical contractor dedicated to serving local clients. Their commitment to dependable work, community support, and strong relationships quickly shaped the company’s identity and fueled its early growth.
As Mark One’s reputation for quality and reliability expanded, so did its opportunities. The company evolved from a locally focused contractor into a trusted partner on complex industrial and automotive projects across the country while continuing to uphold the values that defined its beginnings.
In 1994, leadership transitioned to the next generation. Rosana Privitera Biondo became President, joined by her brothers Joseph, Carl, and Anthony in Vice President roles. Under their guidance, Mark One has broadened its capabilities to include design/build, preconstruction, underground, data/comm, and specialty systems, becoming the specialty contractor of choice in the Kansas City construction community.
With 50 years behind it, Mark One remains committed to excellence, reliability, and the values that have guided the company since day one. As Rosana Privitera Biondo reflects, “We are working on our next 50 years and beyond.”
