Job Description

The Service & Small Projects Manager carries out all duties required for the successful operation, service, and maintenance of residential, commercial & Industrial customers

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the administrative and customer service functions of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical customers.

  • Maintain open and positive communication (both in verbal and written form) with employees, departments, customers, and vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies. • Responsible for the efficient operation and expense control of the service crews and work orders assigned.

  • Responsible for proactive and reactive management of the service crews assigned including safety.

  • Analyze productivity and recommend changes to improve customer service and profitability of service crews assigned.

  • Maintain high quality service delivery in an efficient, productive, and profitable manner.

  • Develop and maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for service accounts.

  • Organize, coordinate, and schedule all customer service work order assigned to you

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of all functional areas of the electrical service industry as well as a basic proficiency in accounting, general office software, and business development processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Construction or other related fields. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

  • Applicant should possess strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail oriented work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

  • Applicant must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field's concepts, practices, best practice, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA, Uniform Building Codes and Lighting Systems where applicable.

  • Experience and knowledge of electrical applications, permits, electrical maintenance goals, Facility Maintenance Application & PM standards. •

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

JOB TYPE

This is a full-time, in-person position. Typical work hours are between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday - Friday; however, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
